The phone is covered with Gorilla Glass 3 on the front and back along with a dual-anodised Series aluminium frame with diamond cut edges. You also get Nokia's trademark accents around the edges, camera lens and fingerprint sensor on the back. Both the variants support storage expandability up to GB via microSD card. Notably, the new Nokia phone gets a dual camera setup with Zeiss-branded lenses, something that was missing on the 6.

The source which claims the Nokia 9 could launch in February , added that Nokia 8 Sirocco was actually intended as a flagship and was planned to be announced last year. However, HMD chief Juho Sarvikas felt the device was "not quite ready for announcement" which is why the company announced it earlier this year at MWC It seems the Nokia 9 is meeting a similar fate and that we could see its announcement at next year's MWC.
The Nokia 9 has been seen in renders and leaked live images in recent weeks, revealing a penta-lens setup on the back arranged in a hexagonal shape. Based on the reports, the primary lens remains fixed while the secondary lens will switch between the other four sensors depending on the condition and requirements. The device was also tipped to sport a notched display and a Snapdragon chipset. If HMD plans to reveal it next year, the company could announce the Nokia 9 with Qualcomm's next flagship mobile processor. It's understandable why the company may want to take its time with the Nokia 9.
